The Adelphi University Department of Anthropology invites applicants for a North American archaeologist, trained in four-field approach, with research and teaching interests in New World prehistory and environmental archaeology focus to teach archaeology courses at all undergraduate levels, conduct archaeological fieldwork, laboratory analysis, and engage students in research projects. Ability to offer graduate Environmental Studies Program courses preferred.

Ph.D., excellence in teaching, record of publication, active research program and commitment to involve students in research required. Expectation to develop/maintain program of fundable research and publication.
